We're always looking for good traders: street food, local produce, makers and drink. If you make it, grow it or cook it yourself, we'd like to hear from you.

What we look for

  • Local and made by you. On Saturdays everything is grown, made or processed within 40 miles of Horsham, with room for a few special artisan traders from further away.
  • Good quality, well presented, with prices on show and your name on your stall.
  • Card and contactless payments, always. It's a condition of trading.

4 weeks in a row, for produce, craft and drink including a complimentary gazebo and table. Choose it when you apply.

Every week is a year's commitment to that day, with three free holiday weeks. Special events are priced for the event.

Paperwork

  • Public liability insurance of at least £5 million, and employers' or product liability where it applies.
  • A risk assessment dated this year, and a fire extinguisher inspected in the last year.
  • Food traders: the council you're registered with, and a hygiene rating of 4 or 5.
  • Cooking on gas: a gas safety certificate for LPG (never butane) from an engineer registered for mobile catering.
  • Electrical items over a year old: a PAT certificate.
  • Selling alcohol: you apply for your own Temporary Event Notice. We'll give you the pitch number to use.

Everything is in the trader handbook. You don't need to send documents now: once you're accepted, we'll ask for them before your first day.
